Everybody’s Talking About Jamie will return for 10th anniversary tour
The tour will launch at Leeds Grand Theatre on 15th January 2027
Everybody’s Talking About Jamie will return to the UK on a major new tour from January 2027, marking the musical’s tenth anniversary. The tour opens at Leeds Grand Theatre, bringing the internationally celebrated production back to Yorkshire a decade after it first premiered at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre.
Inspired by a true story, the musical follows 16-year-old Jamie New, a teenager growing up on a Sheffield council estate who dares to dream of a future as a drag queen. With the unwavering support of his mother and friends, Jamie challenges prejudice, faces his fears and finds the confidence to step into the spotlight.
Since its debut, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie has enjoyed a hugely successful West End run, multiple UK and Ireland tours, and a critically acclaimed Amazon Studios film adaptation. Featuring “songs that have the wow factor” (The Times) by Dan Gillespie Sells of The Feeling, alongside Tom MacRae’s “funny, fabulous, feel-good” book and lyrics, the show has established itself as one of the most popular British musicals of the past decade.
