Jamie Muscato and Joy Woods to lead new cast of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club

A major new casting update has been announced for Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, with Jamie Muscato and Joy Woods set to take over the iconic roles of the Emcee and Sally Bowles from May 2026, continuing the production’s celebrated West End run.
A new leading cast has been confirmed for Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club in London, with Jamie Muscato and Joy Woods stepping into the roles of the Emcee and Sally Bowles. The pair will begin performances on 25 May 2026, succeeding current stars Matt Willis and Katie Hall.
Muscato, an Olivier Award nominee known for roles in Moulin Rouge! and The Great Gatsby, will take on the enigmatic Emcee, while Woods—recently acclaimed on Broadway in Gypsy and The Notebook—makes her West End debut as Sally Bowles.
They join the long-running, immersive revival of Cabaret, staged at the transformed Playhouse Theatre, which has operated as the Kit Kat Club since its 2021 opening. The production has become a defining fixture of the modern West End, surpassing 1,800 performances and earning multiple Olivier Awards.
Set in 1930s Berlin during the rise of Nazism, Cabaret follows the lives of nightclub performers and their patrons as political tensions escalate around them.
This latest casting continues the show’s tradition of high-profile performers in its leading roles, reinforcing its status as one of London’s most in-demand theatrical experiences.
