Layton Williams announces LAYTON LIVE 2027 UK Tour celebrating 20 years on stage
Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Layton Williams will take LAYTON LIVE on a nationwide UK tour in 2027, celebrating two decades of performing with music, dance, storytelling and highlights from his remarkable stage and screen career.
Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Layton Williams is heading out on tour in 2027 with LAYTON LIVE, a brand-new show celebrating 20 years since he made his professional stage debut.
The nationwide UK tour will run from 23 February to 4 April 2027, visiting more than 20 towns and cities before culminating in a major London performance at the Adelphi Theatre on 4 April. Pre-sale tickets opened on 10 August, with general sale beginning on 11 August.
Described as an evening of music, dance and storytelling, LAYTON LIVE will take audiences on a journey through Williams' remarkable career. The show will revisit some of the productions and experiences that have shaped his career, from his professional debut as Billy Elliot in the West End to more recent successes including Titanique, Cabaret, Everybody's Talking About Jamie and his appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.
Audiences can expect powerhouse vocals, spectacular choreography and behind-the-scenes stories, alongside many of the songs and memorable moments associated with Williams' career.
Williams began performing professionally at just 12 years old when he took on the title role in Billy Elliot in London's West End. Since then, his theatre credits have included Hairspray, Rent, Kiss Me, Kate, Cabaret, Everybody's Talking About Jamie and Titanique. His performance in Titanique earned him an Olivier Award, while the show's Broadway transfer brought him a Tony Award nomination.
Beyond the stage, Williams is known for television appearances including Bad Education, I Hate Suzie and Strictly Come Dancing. He has also become an advocate for young performers through his work with Pros From The Shows and its Slay Clubs.
With LAYTON LIVE, Williams will bring together the energy, humour and theatricality that have made him one of Britain's best-known musical theatre performers for a celebration of an extraordinary two decades on stage.
