Principal cast for the world premiere of Paddington The Musical has been announced

Previews will start on 1st November at the Savoy Theatre

When a small, lost bear from Peru arrives in London in search of a new home, a chance encounter with the Brown family leads him to the wonderful world of Windsor Gardens.

But London isn’t all cream teas and friendly faces – and even the happiest families have their cracks beneath the surface. So when Paddington’s life is suddenly in peril, the Browns must decide just how far they’re willing to go — and what they’re willing to risk — to give this special bear a home.

Based on the iconic characters from Michael Bond’s books and the award-winning films, PADDINGTON The Musical is directed by Luke Sheppard, with original music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher and book by Olivier Award-winner Jessica Swale.

Cast members are Timi Akinyosade as Tony, Amy Booth-Steel as Lady Sloane, Tarinn Callender as Grant, Delilah Bennett-Cardy as Judy Brown, Adrian Der Gregorian as Mr Brown, Tom Edden as Mr Curry, Brenda Edwards as Tanya, Amy Ellen Richardson as Mrs Brown, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as Millicent Clyde, Teddy Kempner as Mr Gruber, Bonnie Langford as Mrs Bird, and Jonathan Brown is played by Joseph Bramley, Leo Collon, Stevie Hare and Jasper Rowse.

The creative team members are Matt Brind musical supervisor, orchestrator and arranger, Ellen Kane as choreographer, Tom Pye scenic designer, Gabriella Slade costume designer, Neil Austin lighting designer, Gareth Owen sound designer, Ash J Woodward video designer and animator, Campbell Young Associates hair, wig and make-up designers, Majid Adin for illustration and additional animation, Laura Bangay musical director, Natalie Gallacher for Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher Casting  casting director, Nick Hockaday young persons’ casting director, Javier Marzan physical comedy consultant and Tobago and D-Lime providing additional music consultancy.

Paddington The Musical is based on the 2014 film Paddington.
