The new musical For the Lack of Laura is coming to London in the summer

The musical is playing in London between 24 July and 27 July
For the Lack of Laura by Kurt Rosenberg is a spellbinding adventure which features 26 new original songs from the mind of America’s next great composer. The journey begins when Laura, a young Irish heroine with her eyes on the stars, makes an immortality bargain with the evil sorceress Gwendolethe. This magic gift (or is it a curse?) enables her to travel through time and space to find true love. However, the contract has a price – Gwendolethe warns that, when she chooses a lover, she will become mortal again, and her immortality will be passed on to her lover.
Faced with a host of fine suitors from a galaxy of time periods and cultures, including Spain, Russia, The Cotswolds, Paris, and New Orleans, only one question for Laura remains – who will she choose? “For the Lack of Laura” is a tale imbued with exciting themes of love, magic and wanderlust. It is suitable for all the family and promises to be a show you won’t soon forget.
The musical will premiere in Malver on 16 July before movint to The Shaw Theatre in London on 24 July
