Cast announced to Jamie tour

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie producers announced further cast to the new UK and Ireland tour

Following a record-breaking three-year West End residency, sold-out UK & Ireland Tour and Amazon studios award-winning film, the smash-hit and critically acclaimed musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie returns on a major UK & Ireland Tour from September 2023.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is coming age story musical based on a documentary, directed by Jenny Popplewal in 2011 with the title Jamie: Drag Queen at 16.

Ivano Turco will lead the tour as Jamie New, with Rebecca McKinnis as Margaret New,  Shobna Gulati as Ray and Talia Palamathanan as Pritti.

Strictly Come Dancing star Kevin Clifton will play Hugo/Loco Chanelle from 25 March to 15 July 2024, will play Miss Hedge from 8 January to  23 March, Sam Bailey taking over the role of Miss Hedge from 25 March to 15 July 2024. John Partridge will take on the role of Hugo/Loco Chanelle this autumn. Further cast members are KY Kelly, aka Anthony Gyde (Laika Virgin), Garry Lee (Sandra Bollock), David McNair(Tray Sophisticay), Akshay St Clair (Dad), Jordan Ricketts (Dean), Liv Ashman (Vicki), Rhiannon Bacchus (Fatimah), Geoff Berrisford (Sayid), Jessica Daugirda (Bex), Finton Flynn (Young Loco Chanelle / Jamie New cover), Annabelle Laing (Becca), Luca Moscardini (Levi), Joshian Omana (Cy), Thomas Walton (Mickey), Takayiah Bailey (Swing) and Georgina Hagen (Understudy Margaret / Ray / Miss Hedge).

The show will start at The Lowry in Salford on 07 Sept 2023 and will play at Sunderland Empire in Sunderland, Theatre Royal in Nottingham, Churchill Theatre in Bromley, Hippodrome Theatre in Birmingham, Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, Theatre Royal Brighton, The Grand Theatre in Leeds, Opera House Winter Gardens in Blackpool, Venue Cymru in Llandudno, New Theatre Oxford, Mayflower Theatre in Southampton, Theatre Royal in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton, New Victoria Theatre in Woking, Peacock Theatre in London, Hippodrome Theatre in Bristol, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield, Liverpool Empire, King’s Theatre in Glasgow, His Majesty’s Theatre in Aberdeen, Royal and Derngate Theatre in Northampton, Milton Keynes Theatre, New Theatre in Hull and Curve Leicester.
