Cast for Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss`s new musical has been announced

The creators of Six are back with a new West End musical

The story Why Am I So Single? follows two writers struggling to write a musical while also struggling with dating in the era of dating apps.

The initial cast includes Jo Foster (& Juliet, Just For One Day), Leesa Tulley (Six, Kin) and Noah Thomas (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie). Further casting is to be announced.

The show's creators said, "This is ultimately a musical about two friends, their desire for love, and how they deal with loneliness. We hope people come away feeling super uplifted. And we hope they text someone the second they leave the theatre saying ‘omigosh just fyi i love you soooo much!!!!’"

The show is directed by Moss, choreographer Ellen Kane, orchestrator, musical supervisor and vocal arranger Joe Beighton, set designer Moi Tran, costume designer Max Johns, lighting designer Jai Morjaria, sound designer Paul Gatehouse, casting directors Harry Blumenau and Sarah-Jane Price, band fixers Sylvia Addison and Richard Morris, music producers Future Cut, associate choreographer Michael Naylor, production manager Phoebe Bath and general managers Kenny Wax Productions and Ameena Hamid Productions.

Why Am I So Single? will open at the Garrick Theatre on 27 August 2024.
