Before After, a new British musical premiere details have been confirmed

Grace Mouat and Jacob Fowler will play the leading roles.

Ami meets Ben by a tree on a beautiful hillside. She recognises him instantly: they were once very much in love. But Ben doesn’t remember her at all. What went so terribly wrong in the past, and is there a chance that, in the present, these two lovers might just find their happy ever after, after all?

After a record-breaking live-stream from Southwark Playhouse in 2020, The Grey Area are thrilled to present the fully staged UK Premiere of Before After in the same venue where it all began…

Grace Mouat will play Amy and Jacob Fowler will appear as Ben. Further casting is yet to be announced. The show will run at Southwark Playhouse Borough from 7 February 2024 until 2 March 2024, with opening night scheduled for 9 February 2024.

The show is directed by Georgie Rankcom, musical director Ben McQuigg, movement director, Tinovimbanashe Sibanda, set and costume designer, Yimei Zhao, lighting designer Alex Musgrave, casting director Peter Noden, production stage manager Waverley Moran, artwork by Jed Berry, photographer Danny Kaan.
