Cats Reveals full cast for 2026 Open-Air Revival at Regent’s Park

A new generation of Jellicle Cats prepares to take to the stage as the full company is unveiled for the 2026 revival at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.
The full cast has been announced for the highly anticipated 2026 revival of Cats at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, marking a major milestone ahead of the production’s summer run. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic musical will play the outdoor venue from 25 July to 12 September 2026, before embarking on a UK and Ireland tour.
This brand-new staging is directed and choreographed by Drew McOnie, whose vision promises a fresh and physically dynamic interpretation of the beloved classic. With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and based on T. S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, the production once again brings audiences into the world of the Jellicle tribe.
The announced company features a mix of leading musical theatre performers and rising talent. Principal cast includes Aisha Jawando (Grizabella), Reece Budin (Rum Tum Tugger), and Waylon Jacobs (Old Deuteronomy). They are joined by Lucy St. Louis (Jellylorum/Griddlebone), Jacob Maynard (Macavity), and Christina Modestou (Bombalurina).
The wider ensemble includes:
Ava Brennan, Brandon Lee Sears, Emily-Mae, Joshian Angelo Omaña, Kane Oliver Parry, Leah Hill, Marcus Ayton, Melissa James, Olivia Chandler, Rishard-Kyro Nelson, Sophie-Rose Emery, and Toby Miles.
The creative team includes set and costume designer Sami Fendall, lighting designer Jessica Hung Han Yun, sound designer Adam Fisher, and casting director Will Burton.
With its immersive open-air staging and a vibrant new cast, Cats is set to be one of the defining theatrical events of summer 2026.
