Chicago the musical is on Szeged Open Air Theatre first time

On the warm August nights, the audience will meet Roxy Hart and Velma Kelly at one of the biggest open-air stages this summer.

Chicago is not only one of the most celebrated musicals of all time but one of the sexiest musicals as well. The timeless combination of jazz, revue and classical musical songs guarantees the popularity of this show. The story is about Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her lover and to avoid conviction, she hires a popular and successful criminal lawyer to save her from prison. Fighting for public attention she is shocked to learn that she has a rival Velma Kelly.
