Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Grand Opera House York

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the most Fantasmagorical musical, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, lands in York this Easter.

York Stage brings the flying magical care back to the stage for the Easter Holiday, from 6/4 to 15/4 at the Grand Opera House York.

Caractacus Potts, an unusual inventor, find the old race car on a scrap heap, which he decides to restore with his children, Jeremy and Jemima. It turns out that the car has magical properties, such as the ability to float and fly.

Having broken all box office records in the West End, this fun-filled new production from York Stage, the team that brought you Elf and Shrek the Musical, promises laughs and magic galore – and Chitty herself live on stage!

Ned Sprouston as Caractacus, Carly Morton as Truly Scrumptious, Mick Liversidge as Grandpa, Logan Willstrop and Esther de la Pena as Jeremy, Hope Day and Eady Mensah as Jemma.
