"Defying Gravity" - Wicked 20th Anniversary Edition

Wicked is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

The original Broadway production of Wicked premiered at the Gershwin Theatre in October 2003 after completing a pre-Broadway test run at Curran Theatre in San Francisco. The original cast contained Idina Menzel as Elphaba, Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda and Joel Grey as the Wizard. It was produced by Universal Stage Production in coalition with Marc Platt, Jon B. Platt and David Stone. Directed by Joe Mantello, choreography by Wayne Cilento.

Celebrating the anniversary Wicked The Musical's Facebook page published a video with the current Broadway Elphaba, Alyssa Fox who current Broadway Standby joins, Mary Kate Morrissey and former Elphabas Jackie Burns and Jenny DiNoia in a special rendition of "Defying Gravity."
