Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 will premiere in Munich, Germany

The musical will run at Spectaculum Mundi from 17th January

9 to 5 is set in the 80s and tells the story of three office workers Violet, Judy and Doralee, who are tired of being their chauvinistic boss and are not on an equal footing with their male colleagues.

Together they forge a plan to stand up against injustice and sexism in their office and to protect their working conditions - and thus the working conditions of women in their company in general. With a lot of humour and catchy songs, they stand up for their rights and try to change the balance of power. They do not shy away from drastic measures...

The cast is led by Petra Oppermann as Violet Newstead, Stephanie Patchey as Doralee Rhodes and Martha Kugler as Judy Bernly joined by Thorsten Schmidt as Franklin Hart, Zita Fischer as Roz Keith, Peter Gasser as Joe, Andi Kugler as Dwayne, Dick, Tinsworthy, Severin Menten as Josh, Bob, Policeman, Vanessa Kircher as Margaret, Missy and Anna Kugler as Maria, Patient.
