Everybody’s talking about Jamie is on a tour in Italy!
The Italian version of Everybody’s talking about Jamie on stage from 14 February.
The musical, a symbol of freedom and individual expression, departs from Teatro Brancaccio Rome. The musical will play until 5 March at Roma before moving to Milan for a short run and starting the tour around North Italy.
With the captivating music of Dan Gillepsie Sells, with book and lyrics by Tom Mcrae, the plot is about the young Jamie, in his last year of high school, finding the courage to express his feminine side. Rejected by a macho father, supported by a loving and overprotective mother, he finds a mentor in the manager of an eccentric clothes and accessories shop, testifying to his legendary past as a Drag Queen. With the support of his schoolmate, he finds the courage to overcome his fears.
Giancarlo Commare will appear as Jamie in the leading role with Barbara Cola, Franco Mannella, Ludovica Di Donato, Lisa Angelillo, Benedetta Boschi, Giovanni Abbracciavento, Umberto Noto, Damiano Spitaleri and Sebastian Gimelli Morosini in the other roles.
