 Friends! The Musical Parody announced UK and Ireland tour

The production will open at the Barn Theatre in Cirencester on 14 July 2025

The musical parody will launch a new UK and Ireland tour from July 2025, starting at the Barn Theatre in Cirencester from 14 July to 23 August 2025, and visiting venues including Nottingham Theatre Royal, Sunderland Empire, York Grand Opera House, Cheltenham Everyman Theatre, Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, Dublin Bord Gais Theatre, Cardiff New Theatre, Chester Storyhouse, Malvern Theatre, and Southampton Mayflower Theatre. 

Friends! The Musical Parody is based on the iconic moments from all 10 seasons of the hit TV series Friends.

The show has a book and lyrics by Bob and Tobly McSmith, with music by Assaf Gleizner, directed by Michael Gyngell (The Full Monty), set and lighting design by Andrew Exeter, with further creatives are yet to be announced.

Friends! The Musical Parody is produced by Mark Goucher, Matthew Gale, Oskar Eiriksson under licence from Theatre Mogul. The show was originally produced in New York City by Lynn Shore Entertainment, Theater Mogul and McSmith Family Entertainment.

Producer Mark Goucher said: “It is great to be back supporting The Barn Theatre. We are looking forward to working with Iwan and his team creating this brand-new production which will then tour the UK and Ireland.”
