Hadestown UK and Ireland tour has been announced

The tour will launch at the Leicester Curve on 19th February 2027

HADESTOWN, the Tony and Grammy-winning musical by singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and director Rachel Chavkin, heads out on its first ever UK and Ireland tour in 2027.

Inspired by ancient Greek myth, Hadestown follows two intertwined love stories: young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone, rulers of the underworld.

Blending folk, pop, blues and New Orleans-inspired jazz, the show has become a major musical theatre phenomenon, winning eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album.

Following its acclaimed London run, HADESTOWN now takes audiences on a journey to the underworld and back — a story of love, sacrifice, hope and the possibility of change.
