Jersey Boys set West End closing date
The final performance will be on 4 January 2024
Jersey Boys goes behind the music and inside the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in the Tony Award®-winning true-life musical phenomenon, Jersey Boys. From the streets of New Jersey to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, this is the musical that’s just too good to be true.
Howard Panter, producer for Trafalgar Theatre Productions, said: “It’s been 18 years since the first inception of Jersey Boys, with over 30 million people having seen the musical worldwide and almost 300 actors having donned the famous red jacket. It has been magnificent to see London audiences truly embrace the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons over the last three years, with packed houses and standing ovations every night. Fans of the musical can enjoy extra performances over the festive period, and I’m incredibly proud of our talented West End cast who will lead the show into its final performances at the Trafalgar Theatre.”
The book of the show was written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, composer Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, director Des McAnuff, choreographer Sergio Trujillo, scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting by Howell Binkley, sound by Steve Canyon Kennedy, projections design by Michael Clark, orchestrations by Steve Orich and the music supervision and vocal arrangements by Ron Melrose.
