Legally Blonde with Amber Davies to Transfer to the West End

Legally Blonde The Musical is heading to the West End in 2027, with Amber Davies reprising her acclaimed role as Elle Woods for a strictly limited season at the London Coliseum.

The pinkest musical in town is getting ready to take over the West End! Legally Blonde The Musical, starring Amber Davies as Elle Woods, will transfer to the London Coliseum in 2027 following its UK and Ireland tour.

The production will run from 22 March to 22 May 2027, giving London audiences the chance to see Davies in the role that she has been winning over audiences with on tour.

Davies is no stranger to the West End. Her theatre credits include 9 to 5 The Musical, Back to the Future The Musical and Bring It On, while she most recently starred as Jordan Baker in The Great Gatsby at the London Coliseum.

Based on Amanda Brown’s novel and the hit 2001 film starring Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde The Musical follows Elle Woods, a fashionable and determined young woman who follows her ex-boyfriend Warner to Harvard Law School. What begins as an attempt to win him back soon becomes a journey of self-discovery, ambition and proving that there is much more to Elle than her pink wardrobe suggests.

The musical features a score by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin, with a book by Heather Hach. The Curve and ROYO production is directed by Nikolai Foster, with choreography by Leah Hill.

The UK and Ireland tour continues until January 2027 before the production arrives in London.

With Amber Davies back at the London Coliseum and one of musical theatre's most beloved heroines at its centre, Legally Blonde looks set to be one of the West End's most colourful arrivals of 2027.
