London West End opening and closing shows in September

The first couple of days of September will be busy.

The change of the season is changing the musical landscape in the West End too. There will be quite a few closing and opening shows during the first part of the month:

Closing shows:

2nd September: Oklahoma! The Musical at Wyndham’s Theatre

2nd September: La Bamba! A Musical at Peacock Theatre

3rd September: Wizard of Oz at The London Palladium

9th September: A Strange Loop at Barbican

17th September: Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Time of The Temptation at Prince Edward Theatre

16th September: Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends at Gielgud Theatre

21st September: Sunset Boulevard at Savoy Theatre

5th September: For Tonight at the Adelphi Theatre

7th – 10th September: Death Note at Lyric Theatre

20th – 24th September: Cake: The Marie Antoinette Playlist at Lyric Theatre

27th – 30th September: Bloody Elle -a gig musical at Lyric Theatre

4th September: Rebecca at Charing Cross Theatre

30th September: Flowers for Mrs Harris at Riverside Studios
