Lost the Plot at the Omnibus Theatre

Always the world’s newest musical!
Get lost in a new musical every month. Give us a location and we’ll provide the rest. Expect glittering harmonies, hilarious characters and heart-wrenching drama…all made up entirely on the spot!
After a sold-out run at Edinburgh Fringe 2025, Lost The Plot are thrilled to continue their residency at Omnibus Theatre. Featuring a cast of seasoned improvisers and West End performers.
"Lost the Plot" is a monthly improvised musical in which every line of dialogue, song, and musical note is created spontaneously during the performance. The audience contributes ideas, such as locations or plot suggestions, which the cast then weaves into a brand-new story each night. Expect hilarious characters, glittering harmonies, and heart-wrenching drama, all improvised in real time, making each show a one-of-a-kind experience.
The show is currently in residency at the Omnibus Theatre in Clapham, performing on the last Saturday of every month at 9pm.
Audience participation is encouraged, with suggestions influencing the plot and setting. The show often includes cheesy songs, comedic improvisation, and occasional mature content, making it suitable for adults and older teens. The cast works with a live pianist to create an hour-long musical on the spot, which can include complex storylines, such as a family with 17 children, and unexpected twists.
