Stephen Sondheim’s Road Show is coming to the Upstairs at the Gatehouse
The show will run from 12 December to 12 January
At the dawn of the 20th century, two brothers driven by their dying father’s charge to seize the boundless opportunities of the New World set off to find their fortune. From the frenzy of the Gold Rush to the real estate boom in Florida, Sondheim and Weidman’s complex, catchy, and darkly funny tale based on the true story of the Mizner brothers chronicles the curdling of the American Dream.

Road Show is directed and choreographed by Amanda Noar (she/her) (A Slice Of Saturday Night; Stepping Out; Working: A Musical), associate director: Isaac Bernier-Doyle (he/him) (Tom Lehrer Is Teaching Math and Doesn’t Want To Talk To You; Blood, Gold & Oil), musical director Harry Style (he/him) (Shantify; The Crooked Spire; Godspell), set designer Ruby Boswell-Green(she/her), costume designer Holly Louise Chapman (she/her) and producer Annlouise Butt (she/her)for Chromolume. Road Show is presented by Chromolume.
