The Greatest Showman circus is heading to London
The show will feature songs from hit film.
A new circus show inspired by the hit film The Greatest Showman is coming to London.
Simon Hammerstein, grandson of legendary lyricist Oscar Hammerstein, will be the creative director of Come Alive! The Greatest Showman.
The show is described as a “circus spectacular inspired by the 20th Century Fox Motion Picture”, featuring songs from the original film. It is due to open at a soon-to-be-announced London venue this autumn.
The circus show is based on the film starring Hugh Jackman as circus owner PT Barnum with Michelle Williams, Zac Efron and Zendaya.
The film won multiple awards as Grammy and Golden Globe awards - as well as being nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song for This Is Me.
The show is produced by Outside The Box Amusements (OBTA), the company, which worked with Cirque du Soleil and Disney Studios in Los Angeles.
