The National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals is back
The annual event is returning to the AO Arena Manchester on 27 January 2025
It was announced that Jason Manford will host the National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals for the fourth time.
He said: “It’s an honour to be back hosting The National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals for the fourth time! It’s always a pleasure to host in Manchester to give a northern audience the chance to see some spectacular performances and appearances from the stars of the West End – and this year’s line-up is stronger than ever. Once again, one of the best aspects of the show is that tickets are free as a thank you to National Lottery players who help ensure the performing arts industry thrives by playing each week.”
The National Lottery has a rich history of supporting theatre-related projects. During the last 30 years, it has supported over 20,000 projects and provided over £1.3 billion in financial support.
This year there will be a mixed performance of West End musicals and touring shows such as Calamity Jane, Dear Evan Hansen, Bat Out of Hell, Here and Now – The Official Steps Musical, Mean Girls and a surprise performance of the upcoming Disney show, Hercules.
12,000 free tickets to the show will be available on a first-come, first-served basis – from 10 am tomorrow, Thursday 12th December. National Lottery players can book up to four free tickets with a £2 booking fee per ticket.
