The Phantom of the Opera premiers in Thailand

The musical is making a comeback after 12 years.

Tero-Scenario, a company that manages live musical theatre performances in Thailand and abroad, has confirmed the return of the legendary musical “The Phantom of the Opera” to Thailand in August 2025, marking a comeback after 12 years.

This world-renowned production, which has captivated more than 160 million people across 47 countries in 21 languages, will once again enchant Thai audiences at the Muangthai Rachadalai Theatre in Bangkok.

“The Phantom of the Opera”, adapted from Gaston Leroux’s timeless 1910 novel, tells the haunting and passionate tale of a mysterious masked man dwelling beneath the Paris Opera House. Consumed by his love for soprano Christine Daaé, he becomes both her mentor and tormentor, using all means to cultivate her extraordinary talent.

Celebrating nearly four decades of global success, the musical is hailed for its mesmerising score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and its stunning theatrical elements.

The 2025 production promises to deliver the same grandeur and emotional intensity that made it a worldwide phenomenon.
