The Prince of Egypt – the Musical will come to the cinemas in October
The Prince of Egypt was filmed at the Dominion Theatre
The musical is based on the classic DreamWorks Animation film and features Stephen Schwartz’s “miraculous music” (Time Out) – including his Academy Award®-winning song ‘When You Believe’ – and Sean Cheesman’s “astonishing choreography” (The Guardian), this epic production with an original London cast and orchestra of more than 60 artists tells an inspiring tale of resilience and hope.
The musical was recorded live at London's Dominion Theatre by STEAM Motion & Sound for Dreamworks/Universal Content Group and will be distributed to cinemas by Trafalgar Releasing. The musical will be screened from 19 October in selected cinemas. Tickets are already on sale at Picturehouse locations.
