FAME The Musical full cast has been announced

The musical will run from 28th Jul to 15th Aug 2026 at Theatre Royal Plymouth

 

1980 Manhattan, New York. Amid the relentless noise and chaos of the city lies a sanctuary for young artists, The High School of Performing Arts.

From first audition to final curtain call, FAME follows a group of students as they come-of-age through their shared passion for music, drama and dance. This is a raw journey into the heart of showbiz – where a joyous community of talent and ambition collides with the sacrifice and harsh reality of chasing your dreams.

Powered by an unforgettable score that defined a generation, this production is the first to feature songs from the iconic 1980 movie, capturing the authentic 80’s spirit audiences know and love.

Cast members playing the teachers are Shanay Holmes as Miss Sherman, Waylon Jacobs as Mr Myers, Alasdair Buchan as Mr Sheinkopf, Edwin Ray as Mr Bell/dance captain, and Rachel Jayne Picar as ensemble Teacher/cover Teacher.

Playing the students are Joe Boyle as Nick Piazza, Toby De Salis as Goodman “Goody” King/Cover Schlomo Metzenbaum, Megan Ellis as Serena Katz, Olivia Foster-Browne as Mabel Washington, James Hastings as Schlomo Metzenbaum, Shoko Ito as Iris Kelly, Elise Marnie as swing/Cover Iris Kelly, Alicia Maynard as Ensemble/Cover Mabel Washington, Amonik Melaco as Tyrone Jackson, Jago Mottart as Ensemble/Cover Joe (Jose) Vegas, Kieron O’Donnell as swing/Cover Goodman “Goody” King and Nick Piazza, Anu Ogunmefun as ensemble/Cover Grace “Lambchops” Lamb, Talia Palamathanan as Carmen Diaz, Samantha Shuma as Ensemble/Cover Carmen Diaz, Georgia Leila Stoller as Grace “Lampchops” King, Harrison Wilde as Joe (Jose) Vegas and Patrick Wilden as Ensemble/Cover Tyrone Jackson.
