The Addams Family premier in Frankfurt, Germany

The musical will premiere on 31 October at Kulturhaus Frankfurt am Main

Wednesday Addams has grown up and the unthinkable has happened: she is in love with Lucas Beineke, a young man from a middle-class background. When she tells her father Gomez about her great love and makes him promise not to tell her mother Morticia about it, she throws him into the greatest difficulties: he and Morticia are bound by a sacred oath never to keep secrets from each other!

To make matters worse, Wednesday has invited her boyfriend and his parents to dinner. For just one evening, their relatives are supposed to at least give the appearance of a completely normal family. Uncle Fester - a hopeless romantic and deeply in love himself! - sees his chance to help the two young lovers find happiness. Morticia, on the other hand, has become suspicious, and Wednesday's little brother Pugsley is also making plans to get rid of the uninvited guests.

A fateful evening takes its course...

The musical has a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. Based on characters invented by Charles Addams, German translation by Anja Hauptmann.

The cast members are Eric Lenke, Antonia Görge, Lara Dkhil, Holger Roll, Luisa Enke, Brigitte Korn, Lena Werkowska, Martin Spiecker, Alice Nieduzak, Marcel Zauner-Wieczorek, Simone Arians, Alize Yildir, Ronja Kemler and Jule Kiel joined by Carola Holler, Ines Kirschbaum, Ute Eisfeld, Julia Sessar, Charlotte Sessar and Neha Volze.
