The race is on: Starlight Express tour announcement

The tour will launch at the Leicester Curve on 9th May 2027

Seen by over 30 million people around the world, Starlight Express is heading out on a major world tour in 2027 following its record-breaking revival in London.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s high-speed musical has been redesigned for theatres across the UK and beyond, bringing the spectacle, energy and heart of the London production to new audiences.

As a child’s train set magically comes to life, the engines race to become the fastest in the world. Rusty the steam train has little hope of winning – until he is inspired by the legend of the Starlight Express.

Featuring musical theatre favourites including AC/DC, Make Up My Heart, Light at the End of the Tunnel and Starlight Express, this electrifying production promises speed, spectacle and roller-skating energy for all ages.
